My name is Brandy and I’m the founder of Always Aloha Travel…Destination Travel with a Twist!  I am a Travel Agent and if you’re not sure what that is, then let me tell you a little something about US!  

Travel Agent, Travel Consultant, Travel Advisor…it all means the same thing!  A Travel Agent is a person with the KNOWLEDGE and EXPERTISE when arranging and selling Travel!  Simply put, a Travel Agent does everything from A to Z when it comes to making your vacation AMAZING!  A Travel Agent takes the time to learn about their clients and what their wants and needs are for a vacation.  Knowing our clients likes and dislikes help put the whole puzzle together to form a memorable trip!

Travel Agents are doing all the RESEARCH and PLANNING when it comes to customizing a one-of-a-kind vacation!  Why should YOU do that…it’s OUR Job!  Always Aloha Travel works tirelessly to find the best prices for our clients!  Saving money on airline tickets, car rentals and accommodations allow our clients to spend that money on making memories!  Isn’t that what vacation is all about?  Travel Agents stay up to date on all the new developments within the Travel Industry!  We’re always looking for ideas and tips to help our clients’ vacation run smoothly!  

A Travel Agent is someone you can rely on if something happens while you’re traveling.  Flights get delayed and sometimes cancelled, there can be mix ups with reservations and let’s not even talk about lost luggage! Trying to find a lost bag can be a real challenge!  Always Aloha Travel will fight for our clients because we know your rights and will do everything possible to make sure you get everything you deserve!  Also, it is so important to keep our clients informed to any travel restrictions or alerts that may arise and possibly impact their travel.  Putting our clients’ minds at ease is our most important goal!                                                                                                                                                       

    Fun Fact:  Back in the Stone Age before Electronic Tickets, Travel Agencies had a machine that printed PAPER TICKETS for their clients!!  Paper Tickets date way back to the 1920’s and were finally eliminated in 2008.  Crazy to think about all the paper that was used! 

Travel Agents Charge FEES!   Before 911, Travel Agencies received commissions from the airlines, car rental agencies and hotels. The Airlines and Travel Agencies had a great partnership because they needed us, as much as we needed them!  Travel Agencies would receive free airline tickets, upgrades for flights and were paid commissions! Unfortunately, that rarely happens anymore and Travel Agencies receive very little if any commissions. Unless you’re a Travel Company that has membership fees that you pass along to your clients, then you have the luxury of eliminating other fees.  However most Travel Agencies don’t charge membership fees but instead charge Processing Fees or Service Fees!  Don’t be surprised to see these fees vary between 5% – 30% per vacation.
